Where we are


Balingup is situated in the South Western corner of Western Australia, between Donnybrook and Bridgetown. We are a pleasant two and a half to three hour drive south from Perth, and 67km south-east of Bunbury. Balingup provides the ideal location from which to explore the beauty of the South West and the magnificent Blackwood River Valley region.

Other things to do while here


  • Walks: There are many easy walks close to town; on the Bibbulmun Track, along the Balingup Brook, and in the Golden Valley Tree Park.
  • Drives: The Blackwood River Drive to Nannup has been voted Western Australia's No.1 tourist drive, and provides wonderful scenery.
  • The historic village of Balingup boasts a collection of unique retail outlets, galleries, and a host of delightful cafes.
  • Nearby Places of Interest: Visit the mine site lookout at Greenbushes or visit local orchards and wineries.
