Andy J Alexander

Andy J Alexander

Creating children’s books that inspire compassion and curiosity. Hello! I am a children’s book author. I am excited to share my love of stories and reading. All the stories I write stem from my animal encounters. I live on a farm in Nannup with my husband, baby, and a lively crew of animals, including mini ponies, donkeys, horses, chickens, and dogs. In ‘The Troublesome Twenty’ (illustrated by Meg Hewick, published by Wild Eyed Press), a family of twenty emus tiptoe into Tiny Town and cause chaos. What will the folk of Tiny Town do? With a background in performance and teaching, my sessions have a theatrical flare. After reading ‘The Troublesome Twenty’, and learning cool emu facts, participants will practice drama skills with puppets. Session is suitable for 4-7 year olds.
